Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans – 24.04.2024 Prediction

Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans – 24.04.2024 Prediction

Delhi Capitals, fresh from the battering they received in the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad last Saturday, will take on Gujarat Titans in the 40th match of the IPL at the Feroz Shah Kotla (Arun Jaitley Stadium) in New Delhi on April 24, Wednesday.

DC will try to climb up the league table, and they can do that only if they end up with a positive result at the end of the evening. GT has not had a decent run this season and will be keen on starting afresh. Their skipper, Shubman Gill, will want to overturn their fortunes.

Although GT won their previous game against PBKS by a decent margin, they will also be keen on recreating it against DC. The home team knows these conditions extremely well and will not give away any looseners. DC will have the upper hand, thanks to their supporters as well.

Predicted Squads

DC: David Warner, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar.

GT: Shubman Gill (c), Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Sai Sudharsan, Abhinav Manohar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmad, Spencer Johnson, Sandeep Warrier.

Key Players

Rishabh Pant (DC): DC captain Rishabh Pant, who has come back into the fold after a dangerous injury, is their X-factor. Pant will need to ensure that he stands up for his team when they need him the most and gives them the cushion with the bat and gloves.

R Sai Kishore (GT): Although he has few opportunities to showcase his wares, Sai Kishore will be pleased that he has bowled well in patches. He was single-handedly responsible for his team beating PBKS in their previous encounter.

Match Prediction

GT are in good form and expected to win this game by a decent margin. DC, despite being the home team, has yet to get its combinations right this season. GT will try to make sure that they pick up the two points on offer here and do not give their opponents a chance.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 25.04.2024 Prediction

Sunrisers Hyderabad, fresh on the back of the walloping they handed out to Delhi Capitals in the capital city of India last Saturday, host Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on April 25, Friday.

RCB, who have been in poor form this season, will hope that the flat batting surface in Uppal comes to their aid in this game. It may help them resurrect their campaign. In the reverse fixture played earlier this season, SRH had carted the RCB bowlers all over the park in Bengaluru.

SRH appear as if they are a completely different side this season. They are playing with complete freedom and are showcasing why they are among the contenders to aim for the IPL title. RCB will likely manage to overturn their fortunes by competing against SRH.

Predicted Squads

DC: David Warner, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar.

GT: Shubman Gill (c), Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Sai Sudharsan, Abhinav Manohar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmad, Spencer Johnson, Sandeep Warrier.

Key Players

Travis Head (SRH): Australian opener Travis Head, who scored a century against RCB in the reverse fixture played earlier this season, is one of the players to watch out for in this game. He provides the Hyderabad-based franchise with much ammo at the top of the order.

Virat Kohli (RCB): As always, former India and RCB captain Virat Kohli remains the dangerman whenever his team takes to the field. Opening the innings, Kohli has shown that he can challenge the best bowlers in the world and make them dance to his tune.

Match Prediction

There is no doubt in our minds whatsoever that SRH are the downright favourites to win this game. They are expected to win this game by a decent margin. RCB have yet to get any of their combinations right this season and will be expected to come up poorly against a well-settled SRH side.
