Ireland vs India, 3rd T20I, Match Prediction, 23.08.23

After sealing the series with a 33-run victory on Sunday, India will be looking to complete a whitewash as they take on Ireland in the third and final T20I in Dublin on Wednesday.

India shone in both departments in the previous match. Batting first, they posted a challenging total of 185/5, riding Ruturaj Gaikwad's superb fifty. Sanju Samson also contributed well with a 26-ball knock of 40, but Rinku Singh stole the show with his Kate assault. He scored 38 runs off just 21 deliveries, including two fours and three huge sixes, and was later adjudged the Player of the Match.

On the bowling front, Jasprit Bumrah again bowled a superb spell, claiming two wickets for just 15 runs in his four overs. Prasidh Krishna and Ravi Bishnoi also claimed a couple of wickets each as India restricted Ireland to 152/8, winning the match by 33 runs. Regarding the Irish batters, there wasn't much to discuss except Andrew Balbirnie's 51-ball knock of 72.

Going into the final match of the series, India will be looking to give opportunities to fringe players like Jitesh Sharma and Mukesh Kumar. In contrast, Ireland will be looking to secure at least one win for their pride.
